National Survey Finds Opponents of Federal Abortion Drugs Mandate Outnumber Supporters by 20 Points

A McLaughlin and Associates survey found that twenty percent more Americans oppose (57 percent) the coercive HHS mandate that requires employers to provide abortion drugs and contraceptives than those who favor it (37 percent).  The survey also found almost no difference between the percentage of women who oppose the mandate (56 percent) and the percentage of men who oppose it (57 percent).  The telephone survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted from September 30 through October 2.
