Jennifer Aniston is remembering Matthew Perry one year after his sudden death.

“1 year ❤️‍🩹🕊️,” the actress, 55, captioned an Instagram post on Monday, October 28. She posted four photos of Perry, one of which included the entire Friends cast. Aniston also tagged the Matthew Perry Foundation.

Perry died on October 28, 2023, at age 54 from the “acute effects of ketamine.” A toxicology report released in December 2023 listed drowning (Perry was found unconscious in his hot tub), coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine as contributing factors in his death.

Two weeks after his death, Aniston was the second Friends cast member to share a social media tribute to the late star. (Perry and Aniston starred in the long-running sitcom alongside Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer from 1994 to 2004.)
