Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott’s fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, was robbed of $40,000 in valuables outside her pilates class.

According to a Dallas Police Department report obtained by WFAA, Ramos arrived to a Pilates class on Thursday, December 26, and “quickly rushed inside due to the rain” and “forgot to lock her [vehicle] door.”

After returning to her car, she realized several pieces of her property were stolen including designer handbags and wallets from Chanel, YSL, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada as well as computer software and cast. The report noted that she was also “notified that her credit cards were being used at [another] location.”

Following break ins from other athletes including Joe Burrow, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, the FBI warned sports leagues about theft groups targeting athletes. According to a Monday, December 30, FBI report, the burglars are an organized group stemming from South America and conduct a thorough investigation making it easier to know where the athletes hide their valuables.

“These preparation tactics enable theft groups to conduct burglaries in a short amount of time,” the FBI explained. “Organized theft groups bypass alarm systems, use Wi-Fi connections and disable devices, cover security camera and obfuscate their identities.”

The FBI encouraged the athletes to stay alert for suspicious behavior and use preventive strategies such as keeping a record of valuable items and exercising caution on social media.

Earlier this month, a call was made about a burglary at Burrow’s Ohio home around 8:14 p.m. ET while the Bengals quarterback, 28, was playing in Texas against the Cowboys on Monday Night Football. The report named Olivia Ponton, Burrows’ rumored girlfriend, as the individual who was on the scene at the athlete’s home when deputies arrived, sharing that she noticed a “shattered bedroom window” and a room that had been “ransacked.”

The model then called her mother, Diane Ponton, who then called 911.

“Someone is trying to break into the house right now,” Diane told the dispatcher, per TMZ Sports. “My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there, he’s at the football game. She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding or if she should be going outside.”

Following the incident, Burrow spoke out about the robbery at his home, but did not address his relationship status with Ponton, 22.

“So obviously everybody has heard what has happened. I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one,” he said in a press conference in December, per Sports Illustrated. “And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that.”
