The beloved TV series Gilmore Girls will turn 25 years old this year. The WB drama, which ran for seven seasons, premiered in 2000 and starred Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as the iconic mother-daughter duo, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore.
In honor of the series’ 15th anniversary, a revival miniseries titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life dropped on Netflix in 2016. As time has passed, the show has remained prominent in pop culture as it’s become a popular rewatch especially during the fall.
2025 is also the year The Sound of Music will celebrate its 60th anniversary. The classic Julie Andrews-led musical still warms the hearts of many and is also a popular rewatch during the holiday season.
