The Garden Girlie Aesthetic Guide

It’s the season of garden parties and dresses, but there’s another whole look that I’m loving right now, and it’s a little more down-to-earth. I was already thinking about a “Garden Girlie” aesthetic earlier this month, and then I hopped onto Instagram and saw the most adorable reel from my good friend Lauren Liess with the dreamiest garden. It just clicked!

It feels like the younger crowd is ready to reclaim some of this earthy, hands-in-the-dirt joy. It’s like we’re saying, “Gardening isn’t just for our moms or grandmas anymore!” And it’s not just about the plants, you know? It’s about the whole experience.

Think the cutest garden markers, a potting bench for the backyard, and, of course, the outfits! We’re bringing back the aesthetic to gardening. It’s not just about throwing on any old floral print gardening gloves (though I do love certain florals!). It’s about curated charm.

Cutoff jean shorts are having a moment, and every gardener needs a straw hat to keep the sun off! It all points to this “Garden Girlie” vibe. While I’m not about to start beekeeping, I can dabble into trimming my hydrangeas and maybe feel just as polished as Martha Stewart while doing it.

Isn’t this look just the perfect way to welcome spring?!
